What are you currently reading?

currently rereading A Child Called It... again ...always makes me wanna go out and find that man so i can give him a hug...

I bought it for my boyfriend for Christmas (irony, because he's the biggest Canadian you'll ever meet) and started flipping through the pages...and started reading it

I am currently reading "Talon of the Silver Hawk" Conclave of Shadows: Book One by Raymond E. Feist. It's a pretty good book so far. Just finished reading "Winter Warriors" and "Druss The Legend" both by David Gemmell. The later two are probably two of the best books I have ever read.

I am currently reading "Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Sea of Monsters". It is a great series and I would suggest reading them. Don't watch the movie though, that is if you don't want to be more disappointed than any other book made into a movie (at least what I have have read). Reading these books has actually made me want to start reading about Greek gods and such.

I started reading Dune :D

Just finished reading Utopia by Thomas More. Very interesting read!

Ive been reading all of Raymond E. Feist's books (I'm presently reading The serpentwar saga), and I've been loving them. Did you start at the first series or just started at conclave of shadows?

If you haven't, I'd really suggest you read the series starting from the first series because they are all based on the same world and gives you an insight into how the characters had developed. The only one I would suggest you skip is The Riftwar Legacy because its not following the main story and is permanently incomplete due to some problems with copyright between the book and the game.

I'm lame and currently reading Anita Blake novels by Laurel K. Hamilton.  I just finished the Killing Dance and am gonna pick up Burnt Offerings.

I'm cheating at reading. Currently, I be listening to audiobooks of The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I know that Rinny and Lydi both rread all and some of them respectively, but I also think Butters did too if I recall correctly. Anyway, only on book 2, but liking what I hear so far!

Reading MX newspaper that's printed here in Sydney. Love the little sections for venting out or even give a holla and some chick or guy you like.

My mates brother is the main editor for the paper. Lucky bastard recently got a 3D TV given to him. Gets all kinda things to test and keep. :(

Almost done with the Percy Jackson Series. After I finish I am going to start the Rift War books since Rinny and Tycool made them sound really interesting.

Trying to read The Silmarillion but I can't muster the courage to read through the boredom-ness =/ Lotr was fine, but this... I dont know. I might move on to Legacy of the Drow Trilogy by R.A Salvatore instead but who knows... =/

Oh wow, I tried reading LotR after I read The Hobbit, thinking "Oh man, this is gonna be AWESOME!", but could not stand all that singing D: Never did finish even the first book :(

Currently I am enjoyably plodding my way through A Song of Ice and Fire. It's a four novel fantasy series by George R. R. Martin; he's got two initials, so you know he's good.

I am about halfway through the first book "Magician: Apprentice" and I am hooked. Rinny do the other series of books in the saga follow any of the characters from the first book?

Taralis: yes, It's pretty much all on Midkemia except the Empire trilogy, but most of the characters are on a continual appearance.

ShiiN: I'm currently waiting for the fifth book for that series, it was definitely another one I got hooked too. Really dark at times and I really got into the characters plight to the point I would cry.

Started trying to read M?n som hatar Kvinnor (translated to english as Girl with the dragon tattoo). Saw the movie yesterday in class and wanted to see how the original went. Just having a little problem with the fact that it's in swedish, but I'll get there!

I cannot wait for "A Dance with Dragons" to come out! I fear that it may turn into a Duke Nukem at this rate since it is seemingly never finished!

He said on July 8, 2010 that the manuscript for it is now 1,400 pages long, and that he has written a couple chapters of the 6th book in the series, "Winds of Winter".

I really hope it gets finished and published soon!

I just started reading "Magician: Master" part two of the first book in The Riftwar Saga by Raymond E. Feist.

Recently finished the Mistborn trilogy by Brandon Sanderson. It was awesome, it had me hooked completely. I was totally surprised by the ending, there were hints everywhere to warn you of it but it never clicked until the absolute end. I blubbered like a baby

I still haven't got passed the chapter/s with Tom Bombadil. I can see why he was cut out of the films, that part of the story was painful to read...

Currently reading Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World by Haruki Murakami, which I started months ago but keep putting off as the real world catches up with me. It's a fantastic, surrealist book that I'm thoroughly enjoying, and I'm hoping to use it as an introduction to other books as I haven't read much in the past.
