Xbox Live Leaderboard

Just so you know I shall have a lot more time soon. I quit my job today. August 22 should be my last day. I'm done putting up with my co-workers and bosses. They are all mentally challenge and should me locked away in a mental institute with the key thrown away and the place set on fire.

I seriously have the same issue with my work. good on you for quitting though. its a huge fear for me atm. (with the highest unemployment since 1996, and no qualifications to speak off... im screwed until it all picks back up again.) so i cant quit :'(

Lol Moonpir not only do we live in the same timezone but Butters and Tycool live in the same town and I live like 2 hours away from them. Hopefully when we bid for new shifts at work for September I will get nights because then it will be easier to play with those of you that live in Europe.

Thats pretty cool dude. Time wise, Im already on the american timezones anyway, being an insomniac is fun... honest... But yeah, you'll probably see me kicking about at a wide vareity of hours :P

Hmm, I usually use Achievements as goals after ive beaten the game, but I'll also flick through them before first playthrough and see the ones that would be fun to get during the game.

I've reinstalled the XBL Leaderboard, which can be accessed by following the XBox LIVE link at the top of the page. Unfortunately I've lost everyone's gamertags so I can't re-add them manually, so you'll need to fill in the appropriate field in your Profile Settings.

Re-added mine but noticed none of the stats filled in.

There's a database error preventing the mod from collecting the necessary data, so I've temporarily disabled the leaderboard as there's no longer any support for it and the guy who's picked up development wants to charge $20 for a semi-functional port of the vBulletin one.

I haven't given up, but there are other problems with the forum I think are more important so I'll shelve this for the time being - I've downloaded a copy of the old leaderboard and will adapt the code to SMF when I'm a bit more comfortable with PHP, and should also be able to tweak it to better suit us. Sorry about the inconvenience!

The XBL Leaderboard has finally made a comeback! Sorry it's taken so long, hopefully you guys will enjoy using it again - this time around I'm going to start recording the stats and will include a tally of points at the end of every month, which will hopefully encourage a little friendly competition.

Again, you can access the board by clicking on the SimpleXBL link at the top of the page. Some of the old usernames carried through so you may already see your name on the board, but if not just go into your profile and update the appropriate field. Please keep in mind that the score updates on a 15-minute cycle, so don't worry if you see your points at 0 after you add yourself to the list.

Just one little suggestion, maybe you could change the actual name of the link (if possible of course) to something a little more evocative, since "simpleXBL" doesn't explain much imo :p

Maybe something like "XBOX live rankings" spread over 2 lines, with "XBOX Live" on the first line, and "rankings" on the second, the first line being slightly above the median line of the other links in the menu, and the second line being slightly below the other links? If you know what I mean...

Awesome, I think i'll use it more to track what people are playing though.

Although it does seem like Zell is always playing the same-ish stuff lol
